Relationship issues
I help individuals who have issues with relationships.
When your relationship is going well, it can be a source of comfort and happiness. We can often measure the quality of our life by the quality of our relationships. However, this doesn’t mean relationships are easy. There can be tension, disconnection, misunderstanding or poor communication.
You want to feel close and connected, and your partner might want the same thing, but it is not always clear how to do this. You might be struggling with questions such as –
“Do I really need counselling or is this just something normal in relationships?”
“Do we need to set better boundaries?”
“My partner seems to have lost interest in me, this is not the first time it has happened to me, what am I doing wrong?”
“What does my partner really want from me? Is there something wrong with me?”
“Are we going through a rough patch or are we just not good for each other?”
In therapy we can address these issues so you can find clarity and feel more in control of your relaionships. We will explore whether other issues in your life might be affecting your relationships and how you can address them. The source of your relationship issues might stem from other emotional or social difficulties that you struggle with. We will work on them and address them so you can make space for better relationships.
Feeling connected, fulfilled and confident in your relationships is possible when you address the underlying issues that are at the cause of your distress.
